A young Ghanaian businessman runs a successful cleaning company in Amsterdam. But his father, at death’s door in Ghana, forces him to contemplate his life choices.
Williams (28) is the ambitious Ghanaian owner of a successful cleaning company in the Amsterdam district of Venserpolder. While many Ghanaians seem to choose remigration, the young entrepreneur dislikes the idea. But now that his high-ranking father is on his deathbed in Ghana, his self-chosen life path and the path that is expected of him compete for priority. Short drama about a tightly knit migrant culture in the Netherlands and the old ties and traditions that cannot be easily shifted aside by personal ambitions.
