The moment when Joey and Ricardo have to leave their foster home, 13-year-old Joey hides under the blankets. He does not feel like going back to his biological mother. Still, he and his younger brother (8) have no choice. Once back home, things turn out better than expected. For this occasion, the reunited family even goes bowling. However, among the celebrations, tensions mount again. Hasn’t anything changed, after all, and is the family heading for an emotional separation again, or will parent and children manage to strike a new balance?
